LIFE'S A BEACH (AND AN AIRPLANE)

It's true that people need a vacation to recover from their vacation. Maren is exhausted after 4 days in paradise. It helps that the family stayed at a SUPER NICE place. Thank goodness for generous grandparents.

The airplane rides were just as important to the kids as the beach.

They loved taking a spin on the luggage cart with Papa G.

It wasn't long before they were ready for the water!

The kids got plenty of love from Mimi and Papa G before bedtime.

They were bribed out of the water for a little Easter Egg dying.

Lots of dancing during another water/sun break:

Laney was given plenty of attention, too!

The weather and ocean were pretty cold in the morning. It didn't seem to bother Brad and Laurel.

By afternoon, the water was warm enough...at least for a little bit.

Since the kids had the best babysitters around, the parents were able to go out on a wonderful date with delicious food, and every evening the skyline treated us to a beautiful sunset and the sound of waves crashing as we slept. It doesn't get any better than that...

What a great time! Glad you had a chance to get away. Laurel's haircut is super-cute too. Lets catch up soon!

Looks like you had a great time. Did you get that donut that I was telling you about? I love that area. It is so relaxing and is not commercialized like other beaches.

Every picture of Laurel is so funny! She's such a little ham. I'm glad you guys had fun. We'll have to compare our beach stories soon!
