WEATHER CLOSES SCHOOLS

But not Hurricanes this time...SNOW! Maren woke and dressed Laurel for school this morning. On the way out to the kitchen, she looked through the window in the living room. Her first thought was, "It looks really foggy," immediately followed by a scream; "It's SNOWING!" Brant woke up in the commotion and before long the family was outside enjoying this rare occasion. Brant is not thrilled. He still doesn't like snow and isn't quite sure what to do with it. Laurel, on the other hand, LOVES it! Her only frown came when she was told it wouldn't be here tomorrow.

Jackson isn't a huge fan of snow, either. Of course, last year he just tripped a lot and fell face first into it.
This year we've only had 1/2 an inch...So for now, LA has us beat!!! Have fun and enjoy the snow while it lasts!

I don't think we got as much snow down here as you guys got there, but we got some! It was so exciting to see! I felt like a little kid again myself. I love the snowman-very cute. You should freeze Laurel a snowball so she can play with it even after all the snow melts!

Yeah! Snow!! How fun (when it doesn't stay or come too often)! Been thinking about you - lets catch up before the holiday.

I love the look of pure joy on Laurel's face...and the look of dismay on Brant's! Hooray for snow.
